Lions Clubs International

Lions Clubs International is the largest service organization in the world with over 1.4 million members in 185 countries and geographical locations. Founded in 1917 by Melvin Jones, it’s basic tenant is that Lions will work for the betterment of communities and the world at large.

The Motto of every Lion is simply “We Serve”. That is the true mission of Lionism. The Slogan of Lions stands for: Liberty, Intelligence, Our, Nation’s, Safety. Although we are a service organization, there are other aspects of the Club everyone finds attractive. Meeting others with various interests, socializing, sharing ideas and fellowship, attending other Club’s meetings, conventions, leadership opportunities. We extend the invitation to visit our club, meet our members, find out why we believe in serving our communities through our involvement in Lionism. If you are willing to share your time, talent, resources, energy and concern about others and the community, you will want to see who the Lions are and how we can work together to make the work and our community a better place for present and future generations.
